Good Afternoon,
It is with great disappointment and frustration that we have taken the decision to postpone this year’s Charity Beer Festival.
As an event run entirely by volunteers, with all profits going to charities, this was not a decision taken lightly but the potential complications & unknowns raised by Covid 19, and to a lesser extent the extended lead in times for the beer festival glasses & equipment due to supply problems, meant we could not guarantee that the usual quality of event would be able to go ahead and a last minute postponement would have cost us, and therefore our charities, a great deal of time & money.
We are not cancelling and are already working hard investigating dates and options for a rescheduled event in the Spring of 2022 and whilst ticket refunds would be possible we would be really grateful if you could bear with us and retain your ticket purchase for any rescheduled event we confirm in the near future – tickets will remain for sale on our website for the rescheduled event.
We are also looking at the option of arranging smaller pop-up beer festival events at unusual venues locally and ticket holders will be given first refusal on the limited tickets that will be made available. Refunds could of course still be made if requested. Please contact me as per details below.
Thanks very much for supporting the Gartness Beer Festival & our charities and we can’t wait to see everyone again when we reschedule.
Cheers,
